Where anything on this website conflicts with your executed services agreement, statement of work, or master services agreement, that document controls. Published rates, timelines and inclusions on this site are indicative and are superseded by your agreement.

You may use this site for lawful purposes connected with evaluating or using our services. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a volume that degrades service, or use it to transmit malicious code.

You may not use automated systems to extract content for the purpose of training machine learning models without our written permission.

The site, its design, text, graphics and code are owned by The Builders Desk or licensed to us, and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or redistribute substantial portions without permission.

Work product created by a Builders Desk professional for a client during an engagement belongs to that client, as set out in the services agreement. This section concerns the website only.

Statistics on this site are drawn from our own operating data over the periods stated alongside them. They describe past outcomes for other clients and are not a prediction or a guarantee of your results.

The savings calculator produces an illustrative comparison from published salary medians and a stated load multiplier. It is not a quote, and it is not a substitute for a scoped proposal.

Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting, engineering or compliance advice. Our professionals prepare, assemble and reconcile work; determinations requiring professional licensure or legal certification remain the responsibility of the client and its licensed advisers. This includes compliance sign-off, certified payroll attestation, professional seals on drawings, and pricing or risk decisions.

We reference third-party software and may link to external sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Naming a product does not imply endorsement by or of that product's owner.

Our total liability arising from your use of this website is limited to one hundred US dollars, which reflects that this website is provided free of charge and no payment is made for access to it.

This limit applies to the WEBSITE only. Liability for our services is dealt with separately in your Services Agreement, where it is set by reference to what you actually pay us. Do not read the figure above as a cap on our service obligations — it is not.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes arising from these website terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Prince George’s County, Maryland.

If you contract with us for services, the governing law and dispute resolution provisions of your Services Agreement apply to that relationship, and prevail over this section in any conflict. This section governs the website alone.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
